I’m going to be trying Dragon 12 speech to text software in a few days. As long as it gives a workable copy to edit from, I’ll be good to go. I’d never try to go final from it. Maybe it will help with proofreading. I will be looking at it with fresh eyes. The inconsistencies could even be a plus. It will distract my mind and eyes so I have to decipher each word. A new phase of writing and editing. All because I injured my wrist … optimism is a good friend.
I started using the Dragon software last week, but when I tapped to record, I could think of nothing to say! I wanted to use Dragon to finish a screenplay, that I am working on. It was like stage fright all over again. Did you have any problem with Dragon?

I used it while my arm was in the cast last year. But it had a high error rate, I thought. Stage fright can be cured by reading aloud. You have to get used to your voice.
