Remember those who protected us through the years
The veterans of countless wars and conflicts, we shed our tears
We look at their strength and dedication with compassion and pride
Never really knowing and barely understanding what they felt inside
We offer our thanks and pray for a time to come
When all people need not worry about their daughters and sons.
