Marion! I haven’t been on twitter. Can’t see small things. It was both eyes. Maybe I lifted something too heavy or maybe mold, dust, ?? I had surgery on the right eye. Total detached retina. I was down to the final hour. If it totally detaches, you lose the eye … completely. So many beautiful people praying for me. So humbling. Now I have a patch and part vision in my left eye. Enough … for now, for now. I so wanted to contact you and didn’t know how! Bless you, Sister.
Molly is so smart. When I walk through the house with both eyes closed, she says, “Prrruf”. She lets me know where she is. She’s black and white. She fades into shadows. A “Prruf” is a treat, you know. Your doggie loves them too, I’m sure. She’s my baby. As my son is my baby, 6’4, 300 lbs. lol
So sorry to hear this Tosha, but I know the sense of sound and touch become so prevalent in the twinkling of an eye. It astounded me! My brother had optic nerve damage from polio. He was one of the last to get polio in 1950 USA.
Goodness. Sorry he missed our on the vaccination. I see well enough. I’m lucky in that regard. You’re right though. You’re other senses do become more honed.
Oh my goodness, Deborah! Take it easy and let it heal. I will keep you in my prayers. May God watch over you and restore your sight so you can get back to the business of writing beautiful poetry! Love & hugs xx
It’s difficult to catch up wen you get behind. The best thing to do is skim over everything and delete, delete, delete. Ahh, all caught up. Sigh ha! Hugs
Thank you, Lauren. In Virginia Beach at the Association of Research and Development. I am receiving much needed healing at this quiet end of the beach.
What happened to your eye?

Rest loads. I hope your vision returns. I had optic nerve damage as a child and my vision has never been good. I know how frustrating it can be

The days go by so quickly
I think that I should be making headway
But somehow, seconds go so slickly
That I don’t feel them and gone is another day
