The Sun Will Shine Down Upon Me Again

The Rays Are Reaching Out

The Glory of the Sun in Our Lives

The Sun came up this morning, but I was mourning

So I didn’t see its glory and its warming

I wanted to ignore the rays’ beauty

For I felt it was my duty

Then for months, it rained in many ways

From storms and clouds to tears and fears

But I’m reaching out today and seeing the Sun’s rays

The Sun will shine down upon me again

Though I don’t know why or even when

But I see a smile from heaven above

Sending me joy, cherished messages, and love

“Go ahead and let the Sun shine

Reach out, it’s time…”

To let the Sun seep into my being

It begins with truly seeing

What has come before

What’s left that’s more

Going forward and noticing the glow

Rather than denying the beauty I know

The Glory of God is in the sky

I’m not hiding, nor asking why

I must see … and be…

Even when I cry…

Today is made for growing

With Spring knocking at my door

The sky is dark and clouded

The rain serenely pours

The flowers gently peek

From their Winter’s hiding place

The robin he doth seek

A pine of firry lace

The rain is bringing growth

To every flower, bush, and tree

The creeks and rivers floweth

With eternal life to be

The clouds gently part

A ray of sun kisses the earth

It enlivens my heart

With Spring’s wondrous rebirth

From a church on yonder hill

The bells of Sabbath ring

The world is quiet ’til

The birds begin to sing…

A New Year Is Upon Us…

We can only hope we learn something as each year goes by.

We age, of course, look for answers, seek wisdom, work, strive…

To be happy, healthy, and whole.

We want what’s best for our family and friends, truth be told.

We look to the past to plan for the coming days,

Not knowing how things can change in a thousand ways.

We want things to get better; we want to achieve great dreams…

But we can’t see the future or rewrite the past, it seems.

So we’re left with hope, a positive outlook, and our beliefs

To bring us joy, accomplishment, relief.

I want to send this energy, fresh inside me, to the world, the Universe, the souls of all throughout eternity!

Believe and release your loving, caring thoughts and feelings to everyone you touch, see, interact with. We can bring healing to our planet … one person, one soul, one spark of encouragement and joy at a time. Negativity only breeds more negativity. Joy and peace are created and grow with synergistic evolution. Follow your heart…

We’re All Worth It!

Can We Change the Future by Choosing Our Cycles? Choose Wisely With Joy and Laughter

Cycles

We’ve certainly had our share of problems in cycles of the Past.

“History Repeats Itself” as we see time and time again.

All we have to do is read, sense, study to recognize the last

Horrific crime, discrimination, suffering, and pain.

What is the human experience teaching us?

And why must we listen to the doomsayers’ tragedy

Instead of happiness, love, goodness and trust?

Great deeds of honor, peace, caring laced through infinity

Dwell in our earth’s saga, just as prevalent.

We have to choose to remember and relive those dreams.

We must think about what is inspiring and abundantly relevant.

We can learn from past successes, ignore the troubling schemes

And bring into reality future cycles of good health and joy.

It is up to each individual what they reach for and search.

What gifts of the soul they choose to employ.

What roles of yesteryear they decide to rehearse.

We can change negative cycles into loving, healing guidance.

Recycle our beliefs and memories into beautiful reformations.

Let us giggle; let us smile; let us sing and dance!

Let us change “History Repeats…” into a positive affirmation.

It starts with each one of us and cycles forward and onward …

Forever, together, in heaven on earth, in rebirth, in laughter.

To enjoy our lives today, tomorrow, for all cycles hereafter.

For Renee and all who touch her heart as she has touched ours.

The Gift

LOVE is felt in hugs, cuddles, and touch

The warmth and security of loving arms mean so much!

PEACE is found in the silence between breaths

As the baby’s head drifts down to rest.

JOY is shared with that first little smile

Thrilling the hearts of both parent and child.

WISDOM is in knowing when to play, laugh, cry, or eat

Or just be calm, still, quiet, and sleep.

PURITY is innocence in all its simplicity

When little eyes widen and glow with wonder and humility!
